Booking A Children's Party

Book your party well in advance as some weekends are more popular than others.

I recommend booking your event at least 3 months in advance or possibly sooner for December and summer months.

I will contact you a few days before your event to confirm any final details.

NO Deposit required.
It is the customer’s responsibility to notify SANDRA if they wish to cancel the booking.

Should the customer cancel the booking a cancellation charge may be incurred, at the discretion of SANDRA, as follows:-

• Cancellation more than 7 days before the event No charge
  
• Cancellation within 4-7 days of the event 50% of the fee
  
• Cancellation within 3 days or less of the event 100% of fee

In the highly unlikely event of SANDRA not being able to perform, every effort will be made to find a replacement entertainer.

Content: SANDRA reserves the right to change the content or equipment used in the party according to venue size, numbers of children in attendance and general health and safety requirements.

Bouncy Castle: If there is a bouncy castle, it is to be switched off whilst SANDRA is performing (unless she is doing face painting, balloon modelling, arts and crafts or pampering activity). She will not in any way supervise children on inflatables, garden toys or swings.

Limits on Numbers: It is the responsibility of the customer to inform SANDRA of the number of children attending the party. The fee quoted is for private parties of up to 30 children. An additional £10.00 is required for a party of up to 40 children. For parties of more than 40 children an additional fee of £25.00 will be added. Note: Siblings and toddlers are included in these calculations, in accordance with our health and safety requirements.

Unpaid fees: In the event of a fee not being paid on the day in cash on the day of the party a late payment fee of £5.00 may be charged.

Sweets and other prizes: SANDRA may give sweets and prizes. For the avoidance of doubt the customer must inform SANDRA prior to the party commencing of any allergy conditions and religious requirements. All toy gifts carry the CE-Mark.

Balloons: May be given solely at SANDRA’s discretion and will not be given directly to children under 36 months. Balloon models are limited to 15 children.

Items not provided: The fee does not cover the provision of the birthday cake, party food and/or party bags.

Public Liability and Risk Assessment: SANDRA has public liability insurance up to £10m. Evidence of this can be provided on require (please ask her to bring this with her is required). A risk assessment will be made on the day of your event by SANDRA.

Criminal Records Bureau: SANDRA has CRB Enhanced Clearance.

First Aid Qualified: SANDRA is a qualified First Aider

Electrical Equipment: SANDRA carried a current PAT Safety Certificate which means that all of her electrical equipment is SAFE and fit for purpose.

Parking: If is the customers responsibility to ensure that SANDRA has easy access to the venue. If this is not the case it is the responsibility of the customer to offer assistance in getting the equipment to and from the venue.

Top Tip – For Health and Safety purposes it is advisable to set up a check list at the door for parents to complete with their name, the name of their child, contact details and any known allergies or health issues which the host/hostess should be made aware of.
